I have a 1955 olds 88 holiday. On the floor board on the drivers side is a switch with three buttons ( like an old dimmer switch) I was wondering if anyone can tell what these switches do someone told me one is the dimmer switch, An another one was use to change the radio stations but no one seems to no what the third one is for. Any info would be appreciated. Huffy Transferred from a duplicate question Hi guys the last post I made was incorect it is a 98 not a 88. I don't no if it makes a difference or not but don't want to give the wrong info. It is the three button floor switch that I need to no what each button controled. Thank You Huffy and sorry for the model mistake. Poor typing skills

The 1956 Motors Manual I have is not item specific- no unit repair sections for the interior. Sorry. You will need and should get an owners manual. Try e- bay.

huffy; You are really taxing my old head. If memory serves, what there is left of it, I think one is for scrolling up and one for scrolling down the frequencies. I don't think they used the term 'scrolling' in 1955? I think they just said it was for changing radio stations. I don't think Madonna was around then, either? Loren SW Washington

A Wild Guess again: Maybe if it's a "momentary" switch and doesn't click it might be to flash headlights! That or check out Olds Club of America Forums. I was a member ions ago with a 1961. Bet someone there would know fast - hate to send you away. Please come back and tell us what you find out, Link to the Forum > http://forums.aaca.org/f169/ < T

They say, "Memory" is the SECOND thing you lose as you grow old. I forgot what the FIRST thing was! HAPPY NEW YEAR TomG
