Anyone know where I can buy window channel weatherstrip for a 1986 Plymouth Reliant ? I have 'not' been able to find anybody that sells these. Thanks !

This could be real tough. You mean the "U" strip inside door that glass rides on that (ha" should be felt like on the inside?
Here's the problem and think that's what you mean. It's the end of the so called "K" cars that didn't seem to sell too well for whatever reasons and not highly desirable cars to restore IMO.

Do you have access to a "Pick Your Own Parts" junkyard? You need one so look. I'll bet if just the channel and all else is OK just maybe find some used one and see if a back door just maybe would do if removed. If no "K" cars try to see if Omni or Horizon used the same channel rubber or other models? Maybe even Aspen and Volare - just look as many cars will be already apart enough.

Maybe have to buy a whole dented or rusted out door hopefully almost free and scavenge it?

Whatever is wrong you almost certainly need to find by chance good used. Other wild chance is an auto glass specialty shop just might have something to do a good fake with that will do and work fine as long as you care?

Wish you luck. Been there done that for silly stuff that totally matters on restorations,

T

All I can say is good luck with that one. That is going to be tough to find.
