I've got a '67 mustang coupe that is in need of body work and fresh paint. I need some suggestions of what I should be looking for in a body and/or paint shop since this is my first time restoring a car.

Discuss this with your body shops and decide how extensive you want to get. Does it need dents fixed, rust fixed and do you want it all original or is patching ok with you?

What level of outcome are you seeking. I'd hook up with a local car club for some local suggestions. Parts should be available for about everything for these cars.

Some collision and body repair shops want resto work and some don't as it takes up space and time to get parts to do these jobs.

Have a clear understanding of what you want. I suggest taking care of any major mechanical things before the finish work.......
