Looks like a Toronado had sex with a Lincoln.

Crack me up HT! The logo on the trunk's key hole is that of a Chrysler Imperial of all makes. Guess is a prototype to be a "Mopar" Toronado/Eldorado type semi sport luxo mix to compete with that market that never made it to production mode which is I think more than 500 units,

Thanks, Tom, but I'm not quite sure that's the Chrysler Imperial logo. Here's a better view:

From what I've found, the Chrysler Imperial logo has much more rounded "wings." This is something else, I fear!

Car companies do make a lot of "prototype" vehicles that never make it to production so all bets off. General appearance is that of a Mopar something to me like the New Yorker perhaps. Vents behind rear window look as if it's a mid-engine never produced by Chrysler that I know of.

Both GM and first Chrysler went FWD early and Ford products a few years later.

At best it's a "Big Three" something or home done custom out of a couple of them.

To solve your curiosity why don't you just knock on the door where it's parked and ask?

The emblem looks a bit hacked up close so could be just some crap to decorate anything - IDK. Upwards wings was an Imperial "thing" however it appears the others didn't do that for "production" is all. Anyone with a drill could have added that.

You may never know without asking or look thru windshield for the VIN it should have one or if nothing there it could very well be almost 100% someone's exercise in making something unique. Odd to me it's been let go apparently and maybe now about impossible to make it run? It shows license tags on it so appears "registered" as something or those just stuck on it?

In short - I don't recognize it as anything that was mass produced,

Means little but found the same emblem for "Imperial" division of Chrysler.
Your picture shows one missing the cover for the screw that would include the rest.

Just a sample pic I found out there...........

^^^^
Third try - others didn't show but close. You get the idea I think. That looks to me like a 1965 Imperial Crown it would be called?

Pic may disappear but shows the straight up wings I do recall OE and in person.

So called "Mopars" own rights to this trademark. Doesn't mean you can't screw on any dang thing you can find on your own.

Other is that bumpers look like VERY 1960s heavy weight chrome but bet are a façade of real chrome on that car not heavy at all. It's FWD because the rear from rear wheels to end of car is too short for a RWD car only or primary drive wheels.

HT said it - it's a mixed breed of cars. Wheels smack of a New Yorker to me about 1988 area.

Just chat on this as nothing will be for sure. I've been to and shown my own cars OE only things. Others show up with custom stuff both ends of a car is the front or rear ends or the front of one blended to another brand of car totally is quite the job.
It's just interesting and I wonder why if a one of a kind REAL car company made vehicle it was ever allowed out in the rain and clearly has suggests it's just a creation from someone who is very handy,

I did a Google image search for both the emblem and the car and got no matches at all.

Re: What make model is this?! Sign In

I did get the emblem but that one wouldn't show. It's missing the "turkey" or whatever is the bird inside on OP's pictures.
Can't peg the car at all but it's made up from other real cars most likely? Can only guess as those air things make it look mid engine and can't believe Mopar was going there even in a prototype - the body doesn't match well enough can only be my opinion.
This car exempt from my travels. Saw a lot of the Domino Pizza Founders guy's collection sold to be privately owned just South of Upper Marlboro Maryland outside D.C. - had the only '72 Buick Riviera both ends were the boat-tail! Factory spot welds for hood and fenders about proved it was for real then the story was a GM exec wanted one that way just because he could make them do it! Oh - that wasn't a chop job as it had correct headlights, radiator support that was also correct to fit in it. Appeared totally street legal + forget now how many miles but had some and was used some but clearly not so much as wet ever,
