?window glass?transmission Sign In

hello, all i have had this old truck sittn in my barn a few years and i am gonna get ready to get er back on the road so i had 2 questions,

1950 chev 3/4 ton flatbed straight 6
not the original eng. and trans the eng. is out of a 67 chevelle and it has a power glide transmission. the tranny is not operational the engine runs like a raped ape...

as for the tranny i was thinking i may want to try and bolt a 350 or 400 upto the engine rather than keep the powerglide. i had a powerglide before in an old caddy and not sure i really liked it. so i was just woundering if it would be relatively easy... would it just bolt up????

another thing.. the driver side window is cracked... where could i find one for it is there a glass company that could make it or do i have to hope to find one in a salvage yerd somewhere
