Wet Sanding Sign In

I was planning on painting the hood of my car. I was told by a friend that I need to wet sand it first. Is this true? And if so, would something like this work well enough?

Sure but just get ya a $5 sanding block and paper and dunk it in a water bucket. Works just as good and saves $15 plus shipping. While you are at Wal-Mart getting your block you can also buy a can of SPAM.

Re: Wet Sanding Sign In

make sure you sand on a round motion because if you do it straight, the gap between your finger will have an effect on the sanding.
