i have a 2006 ford e150 150,000 i was wondering if it was wise to change the fuel pump, injectors,coil packs,egr valve, fuel regulator,before it goes i change the oil every 6,000 miles changed plugs 100,000 air filta regulary with fuel filta do brakes when needed just cant afford to break down

Agree - the items listed really don't have a known life expectancy and new parts may not be as good as good originals. I'd use synthetic motor oil and still I'd do it more often than 6,000 miles. Cooling system hoses, belt(s) have a life expectancy like most rubber items underhood.

Lube all locks, hinges and latches regularly. Engines themselves will mechanically wear with high miles but not generally just leave you walking. Check fluids everywhere more often and note if low - find out why. If in any kind of rust belt check fuel and brake lines and replace ahead of time.

There's no telling when any thing that moves will breakdown. Depending on what engine is in this a timing chain may get you and that you can be proactive about,
