1999 Pontiac Grand Am Sign In

The back end squeaks when I go over bumps or when I turn. It seems to be worse when the trunk has stuff in it. The struts have been changed. Any idea what this may be?? Someone told me it could have something to do with the gas tank.

The only way that you are going to find out is by jouncing the car while someone is under it listening and following the noise to it's source. It could be any number of different things but the gas tank is not one of them.
