Cost for new paint job? Sign In

My wife and I just recently purchased a 2008 Toyota Rav4 Limited with a V6 engine and it is 4 wheel drive. As we were washing and waxing it the other day we started to notice that the paint is chipped and scuffed in quite a few spots. Nothing horrible just average wear and tear I guess, but it really has been bugging me and I am wondering how much it would run us to get it re-painted?

Now I know it will cost a chunk of change, but if it's done right I really wouldn't have a problem doing it. Any info and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I of course will check back here but my email is krampusmetalrules@yahoo.com. Thanks for your help.

Auto body work can vary drastically due to quality of work, amount of prep needed and quality of materials. Maaco will paint a car for $200 but I assure you it won't be mine. I think you could get a real good job for under $1000 provided the truck doesn't have too much damage.

after you get it painted or if you just do touch up paint, you ought to consider putting on a clear bra/paint protection film to avoid more rock chips and light abrasions
