1997 Chevy Monte Carlo, 3.1, 148,000 mi auto

I've been reading the other posts on hesitation and mine sounds familiar to them.
It does it from 1500-2500 rpm almost all gears there is an "area" in the pedal that it slugs. I've done alot so it should be narrowed down. Thought it was the tranny so changed oil, and filter, back the next day. Before all that, intake gasket. Fuel filter, plugs, and i've cleaned the mass air flow sensor, and ran very strong sea foam through for a few days. Tryed a different mass air flow sensor.

I'm thinking that it is the throttle position sensor, Or never heard of it till now, the cat converter?

Ideas: Easy on SeaFoam - it's very strong and once done if it worked quit that stuff. It's good for some things but can make an engine run lousy till all burned out of it.

Converter problems are usually plugging up and behave as exhaust restrictions. Hard to get power or higher RPMs if seriously plugged.

TPS - You could try to see an even flow of Ohms change from idle to WOT - it may have a flat spot and not triggering a CEL yet.

Oh and there is a few more things that i should mention. When it is cold it is fine and when it gets Hot it's fine, so it just in the middle. That is why i thought that it was the tranny but there was No Codes and i can shift into "3" and it still does it. It does it mostly going up a hill and just slugs and i can push the gas down and no response untill i go as far as it wants to shift dow.n. Thinking a Horse Power issue

A better code reading may help and you probably will have to pay for it.

Works fine cold or fully warmed up?? That is a bit funky. Guesses for now would include the TPS or the EGR which shouldn't operate while cold or with heavy load on engine. As said guesses for now without being there,
