What’s the fastest someone can mount and balance 4 tires and have them back on the car by themselves? Is sub 10 minutes possible?

If that was to be test of time only YES. Nothing went wrong. Correct tools at the ready. Rims spin true with new/next tires needs no corrosion removed and tool to re-install automatically did the correct torque for lugs going back on. All with "state of the art equipment, no special wheel locks and hugs where totally free of any debris to clear off?

It goes sour just bringing the car in (you don't) and back out. Placing 4 lift pads for hoisting when back down you don't drive over those.

Park the car where it's out of the way and make a transaction.

In reality NO. Your query would be just a test,

I wouldn't want it done on my car.

Ok, so like if the wheels are mounted true and didn’t need any weights on them when balancing and everything went right? Reason I ask is I heard someone saying they can have a customer in and out in 8 minutes for 4 new tires paperwork filled out and everything and I just had a hard time believing them.

I missed the part about mounting also. That ridiculous.

I managed high volume tire stores for years and I had some of the best tire busters around and getting a customer in and out in less than 45 minutes for 4 new tires by a single person would be an accomplishment.

Also, the odds of even one of the 4 tires requiring no weight at all is about 1 in 50.

Yeah that’s what I thought, I’d have a easier time believing 4 people doing it but even then I think they’d have to be clicking to have everything including paper work done in 8 minutes

Even with 4 people they would need multiple machines. It would be hard for one person to mount and balance one tire in 10 minutes not counting write up and car racking.

Todays tires aren't you G78x15 any more. They are all low profile. That may have been possible 20 years ago on a coats 40/40 and a 78 series tire, not today

Beat on this. I forgot the time to removed tire weights. Once about all were clipped to rim (all off first not reused) or some the stick on squares hidden. How stuck and is area OK. New ones, clean off area where machine tells U to put them. Is that cleaned off enough.

Note that before your car came in old tires should be put where they go or if you wanted them back as seasonal use then give you or bag them so clean enough for transport inside a car.

Unique biz multiple machines then someone needs tubes or a tube repair (still) who does that?

Think of the variables, people, machines parking for cars left and enough for "while U wait" folks where do they go - there's room if just a line of chairs.

It's quite a game of cumbersome items store, dispose of or save help and or know where they go and get them there,
