No heat Sign In

 I have a 2002 Ford escape with a 3.0 motor it has been over eating I put a new thermostat and water pump it's not leaking anywhere is that I can see but it still gets low on any freeze I put head gaskets that weekend and now My heat is not working any ideas of what to try next

Is it still overheating?

Are the heater hoses hot when the engine is at operating temperature?

Have you pressure tested the coolant system to see if there are any external leaks under pressure?

Be careful, you're going to come back and find it turned into an expedition..............LOL

You changed the head gaskets on a weekend? You sure about that? You couldn't have sent the heads out for inspection and resurfacing in that amount of time.

I unhooked both heater core lines and started the motor no anti-freeze is coming out of the heater core lines I unhooked the bottom radiator hose from the water pump and the hose does have anti-freeze in it

Yes, and back to what HT asked how did you do a head gasket job on a weekend when machine shops are closed? Were your heads sent out to be inspected and surfaced or not?
