i am thinking about buying a 97 accord. looking at two. both have 2.2 4cyl. but one is 2.2 vtec. what is difference in these?

Quick look out there showed the regular 2.2 was about 80% of the ones sold. That's a good thing when you may need stuff. In general with used the mainstream is usually a better bet IMO. The VTEC might have some more expensive issues over the more common 2.2 so if all things are equal with the two cars I'd go with the popular motor,
