swapping out the wiper pulse module?

I have a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT. The wipers work like they should but I dislike the speed of the wipers. I've timed them with a stopwatch to show the delay of seconds between the wipe of each setting with the engine on and parked. First speed is off, second 19:80, third 17:70, fourth 14:70, fifth 11:70. The sixth speed wasn't much different 11 seconds. A dramatic jump on the seventh speed 5:70, eighth 2:78, nineth 1:40, and for the tenth speed 1:01. Could I add a new pulse module that gives a better time? Does anyone know what I could use? Thanks. I

Really don't think Ford had different options of modules with different timing on those. If you're into electronics, you might be able to modify the circuits and change the timing. I know you can change timing in circuits using a 555 timer IC and different rated capacitors and resistors. There are videos of people constructing wiper delay circuits. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
