Just a thought that perhaps it would be helpful to change out an inactive spot or add one that is about working safely.

We could just mention (I'll do my best) how to place jacks - jack stands, dealing with all hazmats, goggles and things like that.

I just know a lot of students are hitting this site whether in a vocational school or on their own.

It was the first thing discussed in the vocational schools I attended. Just a thought for the site, T

Re: Safety Issues Sign In

tom thats a good idea... we all tend to put safety aside sometimes and it really is a matter of one time something going wrong like a spark from a grinder right in the eye to blind us for life.

A big price to pay for not wearing a simple pair of goggles.

I also see people searching for a lot of diy information. And safety would be a good idea for them. Thinks like after using a hand pump jack to brace it with a jack stand, for added safety.
