I have a 97 GrandMarquis and my question is about headlamps. They are dull and dingy looking ,but also appear to be frosted. Does anyone know how to clean these lenses so I can get better light in front of me? Thank you

I would find out how much those are new - bet it's shocking! Ask a car dealer about detail work that just might include this stuff. I had great luck once cleaning out lenses, let fully dry and sprayed them with clear engine enamel ---- they frosted right up but when dried they looked like new!?!?!? Make that a last try as it might wreck them, T

There are kits out there that are made to do that. Or you can use really fine sandpaper and sand the lenses to remove the glaze. Just be sure the discoloration is outside and not inside. Also rubbing compound or even Brasso wilol clean it. Takes some time, but it can be done. Good luck. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

Not sure of the rules of this forum but there are two good detailing sites, you can do a Search there for names. AutoGeekOnline.net and Autopia.com have plenty of people that review products. Howard
