Gees - this is getting like an obit section! Real sorry for the loss of such a talent. Whether you like his work or not you have to admit he was quite a talented artist of the industry. Exceeded even Elvis with sales!

Whatever happened he'll be missed and I give him credit for incredible legal issues in his life we may never know the truth of and the strength to put up with the problems that come with fame and fortune.

Sorry, Tom, but no loss. Just gene pool cleaning IMO. One screwed up human being. I'll have to admit, though, the lad was talented.

He may have been talented at one time but when he died he was just "WACKO JACKO"

Things were "Wacko" for a while. Despite this usually VERY tolerant state I live in he was barred from performing here!

Would'nt have mattered to me had he performed next door to me, I would've stayed in the shop. Was not a fan.

It's hard to ignore that his enterprises were three times the nearest other out there. I don't think he got a fair shake a life. I'm NOT a parent but wouldn't allow a kid (Jackson Five) to miss out of some normal childhood. Get famous and wealthy and some folks will attack and as said not known to me right or wrong. He was young and soon we'll know what went wrong.

No love lost - just intense talent all wasted IMO,

Agree. Lots of talent. Cute kid when he was 'normal'. Don't know what 'happened' to him. Maybe, when he tried making himself 'white'? The tricycles parked in front of his house wasn't good. His nose falling off wasn't a good sign, either. Sure glad I'm poor. I'd hate for my nose to fall off. LOL. (it's a big nose).

A laugh - ions ago went to a Grateful Dead show at the Shubert Theater in Boston. Paid like $20 bucks for the ticket and offered like $200 outside waiting in line! What a fool not to take the bucks! Live and learn! LOL - didn't know people could put lit joints in their mouth backwards - Oh my!

You always have to beware of anybody that thinks he's Peter Pan and has his own amusement park and pet monkey.

I think the monkey bit the nose off.

He was playing "I got your nose" with the monkey and the monkey won.

That's funny. Didn't figure you for a Dead-head. LOL. I've only been to three 'real' concerts. The last one was Neil Diamond a few years ago. The two previous to that were Sonny & Cher and The Animals. Both, around 1966? Oh, oh..I think I just 'dated' myself.

Drivin' that train
High on cocaine
Casey Jones you better
watch your speed
Trouble ahead
Trouble behind
and you know that notion
just crossed my mind

Trouble ahead
The Lady in Red
Take my advice
you be better off dead
Switchman sleepin
Train hundred and two
is on the wrong track and
headed for you

Drivin' that train
High on cocaine
Casey Jones you better
watch your speed
Trouble ahead
Trouble behind
and you know that notion
just crossed my mind

Trouble with you is
The trouble with me
Got two good eyes
but we still don't see
Come round the bend
You know it's the end
The fireman screams and
The engine just gleams

Drivin' that train
High on cocaine
Casey Jones you better
watch your speed
Trouble ahead
Trouble behind
and you know that notion
just crossed my mind

Perhaps we should just show the Hindenburg explosion and leave it at that??
