WELCOME BRIAN!! I think you'll love this site. It takes on everything that moves and can be a real experience. It's fun and all friendly as I may have said. Tom

Hi Brian. Always good to see a new name/person. Are you a tech; it doesn’t mater just wondering if you work the trade? Join in when ever you feel; we need more help keeping Tom in check. LOL Only joking Tom you know I respect your posts. Dan. Canadian "EH"

Thanks Dan and Tom!! No, I’m not a tech but I’m very familiar with the major systems on most vehicles. I try to keep up to date with the computer stuff on new vehicles (obd2) along with drive train and engine components. I’ve been involved with race cars, show cars and regular street cars for most of my life. I have several friends who are mechanics and even a friend who is a auto mechanics instructor at the local Tech College. I pick the brains of these guys to get the latest info about the auto industry. For the past year I’ve been self teaching myself auto A/C systems and Tom has been a big help with that over on the other board. (I just got my sec. 609 certification) My personal specialty is in the electrical department. Not car stereo’s or neon lighting…..I mean the actual wiring. It seems like most people find electrical difficult, not me, I like it!! I also help a few friends who drag race all over the country, in fact, I just got home from my friends shop. We were modifying the chassis in one of the cars so the new 622 big block will fit with the dry sump oil pan. I cant wait until dyno day for that new engine. It should make about 1200HP with a single 4 barrel carb, without nitrous!!! You should see the runners on that new intake manifold……You could darn near walk through them, they‘re huge!!!! I jump in here when I can, it looks like a fun web site. Thanks for the welcome guys!! Brian.

Hey Brian, Welcome... I've seen you on a few times over the last few days and hope you decide to stick around and help out some people. It's great that you are good with computer systems, its a tough area for some techs. By the way, if you have any ideas for new sections or how to improve the current sections feel free to let me know.

Dan, Being from Massachusetts - most of us are in straight jackets but get out now and then, lol. Brian seems real cool and glad he's here and surely can add to the site. Even though I'm from the Eisenhower Era -- I was once that person who had to know as much as I could about cars and did my best. Be well, Tom
