hi all my question is this my 96 saturn with 250.000kms
runs fine im just trying to make my engine run that much
"more better or effiecent wise" by that i mean like new running
good gas mpgs and better horespower so far i have taken off
and unpluged the hose that runs from the pcv to my
intake manifold and sprayed into it with engine runnining some revive tune-up cleaner through my intake
at the same time i had put a can of bg44k in the gas tank
after done i did notice you could say a big difference in
power gain at this time thinking of buying another can
of 44k and having that same vacuum intake hose suck it
up for better results your thoughts..?

That's not a bad idea although you would probably get a lot more benefit if you misted it in through the throttle body. That would be the area it could do the most good. It would clean the throttle body and IAC that way.

THANKS! for that tip in fact what im thinking of really doing
is takeing the throttle plate housing off wich is held in place by 4 small bolts and cleaning in it using mineral spirits and
a fine brush not hard at all 4 small bolts and 1-2 electrical
plugs and shes out

Two problems with that......
The mineral spirits isn't strong enough to cut through most of that stuff. You need a good carb cleaner
The other problem is that none of it will be drawn through the IAC that way and that's problem the most important thing to get flushed out.

That's something you find on Fords only and even then it really doesn't work. Even dealer techs go ahead and use the carb cleaner. The worst it can do is remove the coating and iif the throttle body is all gummed up, the coating didn't help anyway.
None of this even applies to your car.
