hello all,

i am new on here and i just had a question for anyone who knows the answer.....i am the proud owner of a 1998 honda civic dx, 5 speed, almost fully custom...vehicle..((lol)). i was wondering, i actually bought this vehicle from a private owner ((who i think personally didnt know much about the car)) but anyway...it didnt have a vehicle manual and know my windshield wipers dont work and i dont have a clue as to which fuse goes to which

if someone can pleaseeeeeee help me...i would be sooooo grateful!!!!!!!!!!!

First get an owner's manual, and Rain-X your windshield for now. Ok - you can check for fuses the will light on one side and not the other. They can look ok and not be so the test light is important. $5 bucks at dept. stores for a cheap one.

Junk yards will sell owner's manuals that should tell you what fuse goes to what and if a new one blows right away we have some more work to do, good luck, T

Yup,

Also with a fuse box, sometimes if you find it. The Fuse box will have a chart on the inside cover to tell you what car service (wipers, lights, a/c) goes to what fuse. It should also show you some diagrams af the fuses in number order say row one is fuses 1-10, Then it may say that the wipers are connected to the 6th fuse, so you simply count over to the 6th fuse.

Tip: Fuse wires should be connected together, and not burnt.

You can also go to a local parts store and Browse an open copy of a Haynes manual for your car. You may just want to buy a copy since it will cover most basic repairs for your car. (Even the location of your fuse box)

Search for (options) Privacy Sitemap
