My 1982 yamaha 750 maxin leaked oil into the air filter and ruined the air filter.
My plan is to change the oil and oil filter along with a new air filter.
I need to know what happened. It has a hose from the engine to the air filter housing.
I know the oil has never been changed and the oil filter is probably ruined also.
Anyone have any ideas or seen this problem.

Thanks

Well that would trash an engine!

If (dunno the set up) this uses a PCV type system excessive blowby will end up in intake and can blow oil into air filter.

Compression test and sludge situation check indicated,
