Has anyone used AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil in there bike? I'm hearing good things about this and my friend says he uses it and it actually cools his bikes overall operating temperatures down when he races at the track. What do you think?

All I've heard is that is the best! Bar-none! Also a bit expensive. I've been using Valvoline Full Synthetic 20W-50 for the past 3 years in my GSXR and so far I love it.

It can be expensive, but you do pay for what you get. I've heard that Valvoline Full Synthetic is pretty good, never usde it. Have used Mobil 1 until switching to amsoil. The overall package of amsoil, makes it worth the extra $1.00 or so. I really like the fact its made in america and its free from foreign oil ties... You won't find that with any other oil out there.

Hey, Just wanted to throw in my two cents here. Amsoil is good stuff. However, the use of Amsoil or ANY synthetic should be directly correlated to your specific bike and its age. The NEWEST motorcycle I have is from 1984. Therefore, I usually use good quality dino oil in it. Always stay away from "Energy Conserving" oils with any friction modifiers if you have a wet clutch. It will wreak havoc until changed out. Some people with the same exact bike I have swear by Mobil 1 15W-50. I stick with Castrol GTX 10W-40. And, always make sure there are at least 30 points between your oil ranges. For examples-10W-40 or 20W-50 is safe for bikes. 10W-30 is too heavy and probably not a good idea. Happy trails to all! -Nate
