HELLO'.. I HAVE A 1991 FORD RANGER XLT WITH A 2.3 ENGINE WITHA TOTAL OF 84,526 MILES ON IT. I WASFIRST HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE BATTERY IT NEEDED JUMPING 2-3 TIMES A WEEK THEN MY SILLY HUSBAND LOST THE KEYS AND WITH THE IGNITION IN THE LOCKED POSITION HE HAD TO DRILL IT OUT FOR THE NEW KEYED IGNITION WE REPLACED THE BATTERY AND THE FUEL FILL HOSE DUE TO IT LEAKING AT GAS STATION WHILE FILLING TANK UP AND JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT A NEW FUEL FILTER WHY NOT AFTER THIS LITTLE BIT OF WORK THE NEW BATTERY CRANKED RIGHT UP WITH THE NEW KEY WITH NO LEAKS AT THE STATION RAN GREAT FOR A TOTAL OF 15 MIN WHEN WE TURNED TRUCK OFF TO RUN IN THE HOUSE FOR 2 MIN JUMPED BACK IN TO TAKE OFF TRUCK TURNED OVER SPUTTERED LIKE IT WAS OUTTA GAS AND NEVER TURNED BACK ON... HOOKED UP A CODE MACHINE WICH READ.... LOW FUEL PRESSURE ... PUMP IS WORKING INJECTORS SEEM TO BE CLEAR HOW DO WE GET OUR FUEL PRESSURE BACK ????THE VACUME HOSE DIAGRAM UNDER THE HOOD SHOWS IT RUNNING FROM TANK TO PEDAL TO ENGINE NOW THERE ISA CLIP HANGING UNDER GAS PEDAL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO CIP SOMEWHERE ALSO ITIS A PRESSUREIZED SYSTEM SO CHANGING THE FILLER HOSE WE MAY HAVE KNOCKED SOMETHING LOOSE THAT WERE NOT AWARE OF THE ONLY WAY WE SEEM TO BE ABLE TO KEEP THE DARN TRUCK RUNNING IS BY HOLDING OUR HAND OVER THE CHOKE..AND WELL IF HE THINKS I'LL BE RUNNING NEXT TO THE TRUCK WITH MY HAND OVER THE CHOKE ..HE'S CRAZY..L.O.L HOPEFULLY THATS ENOUGH FOR A CLUE COUSE WERE FRESH OUT. AND ARE GETTING KIND OF HUNGRY.
