I have a 2000 F150 5.4L fuel inj. truck with 40,000 miles. my problem is yesterday I used the truck and today it won't start. I have plenty of battery and spark, when I squirt gas in the throttlebody it wants to start but won't run. I did check the fuses to the fuel pump and emergency shut off.Any suggestions?

If you have a fuel pressure gauge you can confirm that you have no fuel pressure by hooking up to the schrader valve on the fuel rail. You easily check at the inertia switch (shutoff sw) to see if you do have 12v going back to the pump. If you do try taking a dead blow hammer or 2x4 & hit the tank right under the fuel pump to see if that can coax the pump to work. Last thing would be to verify 12v & a good ground at the pump connector. If all is good, you are looking at a bad fuel pump..........
