I asked in the previous post about getting a new longblock for my '95 Silverado 350. Most of the responses were either/or use a heavier oil, or a new oil pump.
Does it make a difference if I'm going to take a long road trip this winter, and put a lightweight camper on the truck? It'll be a bit less than 1000 lbs fully loaded, bed weight. I plan on being gone months, and several thousand miles.
Thanks for all your help and replies, it's really appreciated.

Please make your additional responses to your original question. There is no need for multiple questions.

Also, you need to make sure you're giving accurate information. Your truck started out as a '94, then it was a '95 and then back to a '94
