Timing a 1995 GMC C2500 7.4 L.

Timing a 1995 GMC C2500 7.4 L. Sign In

   I cannot find, after exhaustive searching, the EST connector, on my 95 GMC 7.4L, in order to check the timing, can I jump the ADL link, instead, if so, which pins, Thank You.

Put the IC system in the bypass mode by disconnecting the "set timing" connector. This is a single wire sealed connector that has a tan with black stripe lead. This connector breaks out of the wiring harness below the heater case in the passenger compartment.


Base timing is 4 degrees BTDC.

Jumping the ALDL won't put the ignition control module into base mode.

   I know it's supposed to, but like I said, I just cant find it there.
