Toyota pickup clutch problems Sign In

I have a 87 Toyota pickup that the slave cylinder just recently. We bled the system for what seemed like forever. But we kept getting air out of the system. Then i remembered that i kept seeing something getting my floorboard wet. I knew that the master cylinder was bad after that. Just replaced slave cylinder and master cylinder, but now my clutch is very stiff and way closer to the floorboard. What would cause this?

Assuming you have the correct master cylinder and slave, you still have air in it.
