Just some questions and thoughts for the moment: Can you pull up on the pedal and they go out? Does this have any aftermarket wiring for a trailer involving more than plain lighting? For short while you should be able to take out the fuse for brake/hazard lights to stop the battery drain and save that but this has to get fixed asap of course. If all else seems normal at brake pedal does it pass constant power on thru that switch now? Pretty much it must be right there with the problem?? T

It's probably just not set/adjusted properly ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Hard to see and I just haven't had a problem with the switch itself on this body line yet. If the switch works in your hands and not while installed it simply isn't detecting that pedal is fully retracted. That's why I wonder if you can just pull up on the brake pedal. It really shouldn't move UP more than where it sets when not touched. Any recent changes in how the brake pedal feels when braking and how much freeplay before braking is felt? If in front of me I'd be looking for something silly at first right there actually making it think the pedal is applied then go on if all that is right but pedal would probably pull up more by hand now if just that and it shouldn't, T
