It has 112,000 miles on it. I recently threw a rod and want to find a working engine in the junk yard to swap with. I was told that I need an engine from either 2000 or 2001. I am trying to find out why that is and if there is anything I can do make something else work. I am having trouble finding an engine from these years. I would appreciate any advice. The operating system is engineered to one specific setup. There are quite a few difference between the years it seems.
