Hmmm? So you replace both hub bearings and didn't notice when in hand off car which (rare for both) was bad or if bad? How did the brakes look while apart? Well if hubs now didn't change anything then the diagnosis was wrong and is consistent with a splash shield rubbing on rotor or brake problem, T

Did you make sure your backing plates weren't touching the rotor? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
