so the deal is. i had installed under dash leds with an auxiliary switch. connected it through to the fuse box as well for the positive wire, grounded it. everything was working fine for 2 days. i go to turn my car on today, radio is not working at all. no time, no display, no sound, nothing. checked the radio fuses, checked the wiring to the harnesses and everything. it seemed all fine. could there be something im missing? its a sony cd/fm/am car stereo with a detachable face plate too. 1992 plymouth acclaim v6 3.0 just under 29k miles

Does the radio have power and ground right to it? This isn't my thing anymore but many aftermarket things come with their own in line fuse to be verified. Removable face plate may also be the issue?? T

make sure you check all of your fuses. most radios these days require two power sources, both the red and yellow wires need to have power going to them in order for the radio to work. there may be a fuse in the back of the radio also.
