My 2007 Town & Country 3.8L Touring is leaking coolant from a auxiliary a/c heater tube. This hose apparently is not a local auto parts part, so I was wondering if this hose could be modified by eliminating the piece that joins the rubber to the aluminum tube pictured. That is the area the leak is coming from. http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/74nJsRr/587.jpg

Your picture didn't work. You'll probably have better luck using Photobucket. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Don't need the pic. You are right there so cut and splice if just rubber area but make sure it's the return line not the smaller of the two OR restrict "hot" line coolant a bit or blow the heater core if not. Pay attention to that fix and which hose it is, T

The parts stores don't get access to every piece on a car. Have you called the dealership? They should be able to get it for you. Have the last 8 digits of the VIN when you call to speed up the process and get the right part.
