Can anyone help with figuring out what is wrong? Possibly stuck in passing gear? It started right after passing a slow dump truck. I was driving at about 30mph and floored it (truck down-shifted like normal) to pass - then my truck wouldn't up-shift. Like I said it shifts fine 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 1st. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I pulled it out and it was completly smoked out even fluid was burnt out. Like you I had both 1 & 2 but no 3. I took to some Tranny shops and none could find the problem so in the end i replaced it. Just giving you a warning that these tranny's are very hard to come by in my area and are very expensive.
