My son jammed a coin in the CD player of my 2004 Ford Freestar. I took the CD player out, took out the coin hooked all the wires back up, but now the stereo won't turn on at all. No radio, no clock, no power, nothing...Any ideas for me? Thanks.

It doesn't work because you took the coin out. Radios don't play for free. Is this factory radio and CD player? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Yeah, it's the original stereo.

Have you checked fuses? Check fuse 20 in the smart junction block. The owners manual should give you the location of the fuse block and fuse. Power windows work? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
