Mazda Safety Neutral Switch Wiring... What's it called???

I have a 2005 Mazda6. A couple years ago I had a safety neutral switch start acting up. Whenever I would park the car either I would have to slam the automatic shifter into park or park on an incline and as the car would rock back it would go into park (the letter P would have a square highlight green around it showing it went into park). I replaced the switch and a year later the mazda would go out of drive into neutral (I guess because of vibrations). I just replaced the switch again and now I have the parking issue again. I read it could either be that the plastic shifter cable seizes to the stud by rust and needs cleaned up or that the wires on the plug that connect to the neutral safety switch may have gotten stretched over time and need replaced. Anyone know what the wire harness with plug is that conects to the safety neutral switch? I can't find it to buy it. Thanks

It would be called a pigtail for the Neutral Safety Switch which is also called a Transmission Range Sensor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Which engine? I'm confused. Is the transmission actually going into park mechanically? Stretched wires causing indicator alignment issues?? That's a new one.
