Moved this to A/C section. Does air come out wrong vents like defrost? There are actuators that direct where air comes out as control head indicates. Default is usually defrost in a failure. For now, will it change where air comes out at all? Should be able to choose floor only (heat) mix of floor and defrost and so on of mix or choose exact vents to blow air. Either actuators or control head isn't directing it probably actuators or stuck diverter door? T

Yes what? Air out defrost only? The most common reason is this probably uses vacuum controlled actuator for controls and the line thru firewall is broken. That vacuum hose should be plastic and looks a bit like wire but should find the break under hood where it goes thru firewall or nearby that area, T

If you can't type more than a couple words to explain your problem, you are just wasting everyone's time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
