If you've never done it before, I wouldn't suggest trying it. It requires experience, skill and some sort of press. If you damage the driveshaft in the process, you will turn a hundred dollar job into 5 hundred. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

With HT on this. You have an aluminum driveshaft so its not as forgiving as the older ones. Miss once with the hammer and wreck very expensive stuff. If you know a guy who is familiar with this type of work and is willing to teach you all the better, but to wing it off internet advice without an experienced man there to help in person is a poor investment.

Ditto - This as things go is nothing but messing it up isn't worth it. Dang near all just need some common "C" clamps, vise, workbench and assorted stuff. If something is difficult you have to have the real stuff at the ready. This should be a while-you-wait job not worth the aggravation. I say best if you don't need to hammer one out (not for new back in) where you could damage shaft over a simple job, T
