repair the leak, replacing a portion of brake line then bleed brakes. Lets the bar a little - there are no short cuts on safety.

This is rust - right? Don't screw around and have every inch of lines checked while this one fixed or whole side replaced. Common as all get out and of course a surprise you don't need. There's no way it would be responsible for us to suggest any fakes to drive it this way. Just know - parts are actually cheap by the roll so common but takes some time to bend them, flare ends just right in the same place old one(s) are, T

To answer your direct question, no do not attempt to drive it. Have it towed. As Tom stated, this will be a project to repair as there is never just one rusty line. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
