I have now gone through two cd players on my 2003 G35, and judging from the internet research I've done, this seems to be a common problem. Infiniti corporate will not take any responsibility. I'd like to hear from others who have had their disc changer gone bad and tried to deal with Infiniti - any successes? (just altered subject line and made this it's own thread for better response)

I have seen this problem quite often on this site. But not to do with the changer, with the actual unit failing.

If you're getting a new one for $300 you're doing well. I'm being asked to spend over $600 for a refurbished model. I'm just going to see if I can get it replaced with another brand by someone.
