Awhile back I cleaned the variable timing actuator and cleared code P0014. Well, cel came back on the other day. I went to hook my scanner up and the scanner won't come on. I tried my scanner on 3 other vehicles and it works just fine. It worked fine in the Envoy last time I used it. I tried wiggling it around thinking it may just be a bad connection but no luck. Any ideas? Is there a certain fuse that could've blown? Thanks

Check the lighter fuse ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

2 ideas 1) check fuses- often its cigarette lighter fuse- underhood has fuses also- 2) check for 12v at cavity #16 of the ALDL, If no luck I will pull up a wiring diagram if you let me know about remote starter- yes or no

I haven't changed it yet but know it's now the lighter fuse. I checked some of the fuses last night and that one is out but left it. I didn't realize it also provided power to other places. Like usual...you guys are 2 for 2 today! Thanks!
