Need some help in changing a front main crank seal. Does anyone know if it will be a simple pull the pulley and remove/replace the seal, or drop the pan, or what? The car only has 43,000 miles on it and it was driven by an elderly lady. The rest of the car is in great shape. Thanks, Nick Daytona Beach

Should be that simple. The seal isn't that much different that a wheel bearing seal. You will need a puller. good luck with the fix - T

Thanks for the quick response Tom G! I was hoping it was going to be that simple. Hey while I'm at it I might as well change the "Timing Belt" too. Thanks, Nick Daytona Beach

What a great time to toss the timing belt. I don't think they are depedable past perhaps 60K and you have some time on this one too. None too early for this, - T
