A/C pressure testing issue

I replaced A/C compressor, I vacuumed up the A/C system, I refilled the A/C system with R-134A refrigerant. It blew cold air for about 3 mins then stopped, so then the next day I was trying to check the A/C pressure because the 2nd day there’s no cool air coming out of the fan, but somehow the A/C compressor clutch was still engaged when just turned on the car, that indicates there’s refrigerant in the system, but shuts off and on in the interval of 3 mins. Also while the car is off, I tried to check the pressure…. Somehow I can't for the High-Pressure side, it would just splash the refrigerant out, and the Low-Pressure side was able to hook up, but no reading at all. Could someone please explain what’s wrong with my A/C system? No links allowed

What is the year make a model of the vehicle working on? How much refrigerant did you charge the system with? What type of AC equipment are you using?

Exactly - please state the vehicle. Many don't use a high side port and you can't just use pressures systems know it, dash warnings or not is not more than it's in trouble if present. Just FYI temps known = pressure known for sensors the port is really just another place to leak, T
