I installed a new heater core on a 99 Dodge Dakota and now the running lights won't come on. The head lights, brake lights, turn signal lights, and dash lights all work. I have checked all the connections and replaced light switch with no luck. Any help on what I missed would be great.

The DRL's or parking lamps are inop, might want to clear that up - anyway there are fuses in the PDC underhood check them do not just look at them, for DRL's check the parking brake switch as it is in circuit,

On the back of the headlamp switch check for battery voltage on the black/yellow wire at the connector with the switch in the park position. Back probe the connector and make sure your volt meter has a good ground. If that is good, inspect connector C200. The black/yellow wire from the headlamp switch goes to that connector on pin 41. Check for power there on both side of the connector with it plugged in. Maybe when you removed the dash that connector isn't fully seated or there is a terminal issue going on. C200 is a 79 pin black connector probably located under the dash before the harness exits through the firewall. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
