Do you mean bypassing the Mass air flow sensor? The vehicle won't run or run poorly if you bypass the sensor. It's a critical input to the engine computer. Why would you want to do that? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

According to the service information the flow sensor is used by the air conditioning amplifier to tell the engine control module how to control the engine idle speed with the ac turned on. The signal from the flow sensor varies, so there really is no way to bypass it. It might also be used as feedback into calculating the amount of duty cycle the solenoid valve gets. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
