I am having a problem identifying an unknown part for a TH475 Transmission I'm pulling apart on a 1986 Chevy P30 (454, 7.4L) It needs to be replaced and at first I thought it might be an accumulator piston but I don't find anything like it online and it has two pieces to it instead of just one as an accumulator piston has. Here are the links to the photos I've uploaded to the forum.

The trans should be a THM400, The part looks like an accumulator that would go in the valvebody, the accumulator is one piece, the one in the pic is probably broken, is there a spring that you found as well? Gary Actually depending on what rear seal it takes, it could be a 475 trans, but thm400 is the same thing.
