95 maxima good choice or bad? Sign In

I have a 97 eclipse gs and i love the car always have loved them, but i need something alittle bigger. I have 2 kids in car seats and while they ride good in it. Niether me or my wife do.

A guy that lives up the street has a 95 maxima gle i believe it is. It has the v6 auto in it. The car has been taken really good care of. And there are no known issues with it. Its fully loaded with leather and all the goods. It has 200000 on the body and 140 on the motor with papers to prove it. The timing belt and water pump were changed 2 weeks ago with papers to prove that to.

I thinking about trading the guy straight up. Am i making a good choice or a bad one. I dont know to much about them except for both me and my wife like maximas. But i dont want to get into a car that is a total p.o.s.
Ive read some reviews about them online all seem to be pretty good.
Anybody have a reason to change my mind

So far not a lot of grief from Nissan's. Plenty of miles on this. I'd pay to have uninvolved tech check it out and decide from there,
