I’m looking into getting a shell of a 67 mustang and am and am planning on putting a challenger hellcat engine in it. My question isif I have to get exact parts for the mustang like suspension, exhaust and everything else or would I need or would I even be able to put other hellcat parts on it

Why would anything be interchangeable with a Chrysler Hellcat and a Ford Mustang. First off, Mustangs were made with the worst suspension of any other car. It has no frame and would likely break in half with a Hellcat Hemi. The electronics alone will make you crazy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Do anything if you want and have a team of engineers handy. '67 Mustangs are/were OE still from a Falcon morphed the body and sold like crazy, the power hunger was faster than brains bent the cars - really did. As HT said suspension wasn't up to it, it's a weak unit body as they were really a grocery getter Falcon still a good car for what it was meant to be OMG 1960 model year. Up to you if you wanted just the shell and shape go nuts later years the OE big block 351 Cleveland took the cake just don't go too fast or try to make hard turns still. Love affair cars can do what you want or buy one already done like nothing today but part with an insane amount of bucks. Up to you just know what you have OE isn't up to even what was OE the shape was catchy and still is, Tom Smile: BTW the OE dash gauges are 6V still ballasted down from 12V drive you nuts too as the list goes on...
